1. Acceptance of the terms

These Terms of Use ("EULA") govern the use of the website, the shop and the booking services of De Gloire et d'Aventures ("we", "our" or "the company"). By browsing the site or creating an account, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site.

2. Member account

Some features (order history, family profile, activity booking) require an account. You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for the accuracy of the information you provide (contact details, allergies, names of participating children).

3. Services offered

De Gloire et d'Aventures offers recreational and educational activities:

• Tabletop role-playing games (Dungeons & Dragons).
• Trollball (medieval sport).
• Live action role-play (LARP) for ages 10 to 18.
• Costume-making workshops.
• Facilitation and youth-intervention services.

Descriptions, group capacities, age ranges and physical requirements are listed on each activity page.

4. Orders and payment

The shop runs on an Interac e-Transfer payment model only. No credit card data is collected, stored or processed on the site. At checkout, the customer receives the transfer instructions by email, including the deposit email address, the exact amount, the security question and the answer to use.

An order is confirmed only once payment has been received and verified by an administrator. We reserve the right to cancel an order if payment is not received within a reasonable delay.

5. Refund policy

Refunds are assessed case by case. Requests must be sent to gloireetaventures@gmail.com. Any bank transaction fees are non-refundable.

6. Intellectual property

All site content — text, images, logos, trademarks, game scenarios and educational material — belongs to De Gloire et d'Aventures or its licensors. Any reproduction, distribution or modification without prior written permission is prohibited.

7. Participant conduct

Participants agree to:

• Respect facilitators, volunteers and other participants.
• Follow safety instructions, in particular during foam-sword combat or forest activities.
• Refrain from discriminatory, harassing or violent behaviour.
• Report any relevant allergy or medical condition before the activity begins.

We reserve the right to temporarily or permanently exclude any participant whose behaviour endangers the safety or well-being of the group.

8. Limitation of liability

De Gloire et d'Aventures does everything possible to keep its activities safe. However, taking part in outdoor physical activities carries inherent risks. Parents or guardians remain responsible for the physical and medical fitness of minor participants. The company's liability is limited to the amount paid for the activity concerned, except in cases of gross negligence or wilful misconduct.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate a member account in case of breach of these terms, false information or harmful behaviour. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us at gloireetaventures@gmail.com.

10. Changes to the terms

We may amend these terms at any time. The version in force is the one published on this page with its last-updated date. It is your responsibility to review this page regularly.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Quebec and Canada. Any dispute shall be submitted to the competent courts of Quebec.

12. QuickBooks/Intuit integration

You acknowledge that your billing data (name, email, address, order details) may be synced with QuickBooks Online (Intuit) in order to generate invoices and record payments. This use is described in our Privacy Policy.
